Nonprofit Needs Data Dashboard

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Greater Houston Community Foundation, in partnership with United Way of Greater Houston, Harris County Long Term Recovery Steering Committee, and Texas Gulf Coast Regional Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Executive Committee quickly distributed a survey to nonprofit organizations typically engaged in disaster response.

This survey, administered from March 13, 2020 to March 22, 2020, was designed to assess organizational capacity and needs, as well as anticipated community needs and early nonprofit response.

This report summarizes responses from 76 nonprofit partners who contribute to our region’s disaster response and are likely to be active in COVID-19 response.

    • Capacity/Needs Survey Tab: Aggregate results, filter by county using top left dropdown menu. Hover over the data points for greater detail.
    • Top Needs – Open Response Tab: View a word cloud of coded responses.
    • Organization Summary Tab: By organization results on select questions, filter by organization using top left dropdown menu.
